Job Description

Develop and revise IPC data modules per ATA iSpec 2200 / S1000D specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and part lists to create detailed and accurate parts information.
Assign and verify figure numbers, item numbers, part numbers, and nomenclature based on aircraft configuration.
Coordinate with illustrators to ensure accuracy of exploded views and callouts.
Manage revision control, effectivity, and configuration management across documentation.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of aircraft systems (Mechanical / Electrical / Avionics).
Proficiency in ATA iSpec 2200 and/or S1000D authoring standards.
Hands-on experience with authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, FrameMaker, TechSight, Corena Studio, or Oxygen XML Editor.
Familiarity with illustration tools (IsoDraw, CorelDraw, or equivalent).
Good knowledge of part numbering systems, effectivity control, and document configuration.
Experience working with OEM environments (Airbus / Boeing / Bombardier / Embraer) preferred.
Understanding of SGML/XML authoring and use of Content Management Systems (CMS).
