Job Description

Role: Junior IP Lawyer

Responsibilities:

Independently handle basic IP-related queries and support senior IP Lawyers in strategizing client requirements.
Prepare, review, and file legal documents related to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other IP matters.
Participate actively in client meetings and provide preliminary insights on IP issues.
Conduct in-depth legal research using IP databases and stay updated on amendments, case laws, and regulatory developments.
Assist in drafting legal opinions, oppositions, replies, and documentation for IP filings.
Contribute to creating educational and compliance materials for clients.
Coordinate with cross-functional teamsincluding legal, compliance, and business teamsto support IP-related initiatives.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in legal filings and reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); specialization in Intellectual Property Law is preferred.
Minimum
2 years of demonstrated experience
in handling IP matters.
Good understanding of IP processes, including filing, prosecution, and basic litigation procedures.
Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in using IP legal databases and research tools (bonus).
