IoT Software Engineer (Contract – 6 Months)

We are seeking an IoT-based Software Engineer with expertise in LoRa (Long Range) communication for building automation systems. This role will focus on developing, integrating, and optimizing IoT solutions for van-based LoRa-enabled building automation technology. The engineer will work closely with the hardware and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure IoT applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy IoT software solutions using LoRa communication protocols for building automation.
• Integrate LoRa-enabled devices with backend systems, cloud platforms, and mobile/web dashboards.
• Develop APIs, firmware, and applications for data collection, control, and analytics.
• Work with hardware engineers to ensure smooth communication between embedded devices and software systems.
• Implement secure and optimized data transmission over LoRa networks.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance in real-world environments, including van-based deployments.
• Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, code, and integration procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in IoT software development with LoRaWAN / LoRa protocols.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or embedded systems languages.
• Experience with MQTT, CoAP, or other IoT communication protocols.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
