IoT Firmware Engineer (Fresher)

Job Responsibilities:

● Development of firmware for embedded devices built upon 32-bit or 16-bit

microcontrollers, e.g., ESP32, STM32.

● Working on a single-board computer based on the Raspberry Pi and Beagle bone.

● Conducting research and developing the standard drivers for new systems.

● Working on various hardware interfaces in IoT.

● Diagnosing, modifying, and enhancing the pre-existing legacy code.

● Collaborating seamlessly with hardware engineers to rigorously assess, troubleshoot,

and validate firmware on testing benches.

● Engaging with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system

requirements in order to offer the most suitable solution architecture.

● Providing technical support at the client's interface, as and when requisite.

Job Requirements:

● Have at least one year of college-level experience with embedded programming

projects.

● Exhibit proficiency in an object-oriented programming language like C or C++.

● Proficient with microcontroller Integrated Development Environment (IDE) design and

development tools.

● Familiarity with serial communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C.

● Familiarity with field communication standards, such as Modbus RS485 (RTU/ASCII)

and TCP/IP.

● A fundamental understanding of data routes, including MQTT and HTTP (methods like

POST and GET).

● Developing drivers for network stacks, encompassing WiFi, 4G-LTE, Ethernet, and

Bluetooth.

● Basic understanding of hardware components and laboratory equipment.
