Senior IoT & Automation Engineer (AI Labs & Robotics) – Gurugram

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IoT & Automation Engineer with deep hands-on experience in sensors, actuators, robotics, automation systems, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontrollers, and real-world hardware integration.

This role is central to building and deploying AI-powered Innovation Labs across India. You will work on intelligent hardware prototypes, immersive automation projects, AI-driven robotics, and home-automation–style solutions integrated into Dataviv’s signature education, healthcare, and simulation systems.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, creative, disciplined, and comfortable handling both engineering + field installation + mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities1. IoT, Electronics & Robotics Development

• Design, build, and troubleshoot IoT systems using Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, and other microcontrollers.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, motors, relays, cameras, IR/Ultrasonic/LiDAR modules, servo systems, and robotic components.
• Develop automation workflows for AI-driven projects (CV-based triggers, edge detection, smart alerts, robotics control, etc.).
• Implement communication protocols: MQTT, I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, WiFi, LoRa.
• Capable of creating working prototypes end-to-end for AI + IoT demos.

2. Home Automation & AI Integration

• Build and deploy smart home automation systems (lighting, energy monitoring, access control, sensor networks).
• Integrate IoT devices with AI models, CV pipelines, and cloud dashboards.
• Work closely with the AI team to make hardware come alive with ML/DL models and edge inference.

3. Installation & Field Deployment (Across India)

• Travel to client sites to install, configure, and commission Dataviv AI Labs.
• Set up projectors, sensors, cameras, robotics kits, servers, VR/AR devices, and complete physical lab infrastructure.
• Ensure smooth functioning and troubleshoot hardware quickly during installations.

4. Maintenance & Technical Support

• Provide ongoing maintenance, upgrade systems, replace faulty components.
• Maintain documentation, wiring diagrams, hardware checklists, BOMs, and QC reports.
• Ensure labs stay fully functional for school/university operations.

5. Training & Mentoring

• Teach and demonstrate AI + IoT + Robotics projects to students, teachers, and partner institutions.
• Conduct hands-on workshops on sensors, automation, Raspberry Pi coding, and robotics.
• Support innovation challenges, lab activities, and assist with curriculum delivery.

Required Skills & ExpertiseTechnical

• Strong knowledge of Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, Jetson Nano (preferred).
• Expertise with common sensors: PIR, IR, ultrasonic, temperature, gas, soil moisture, IMU, GPS, proximity, camera modules.
• Experience with servo and stepper motors, linear actuators, motor drivers, relays & automation circuits.
• Practical knowledge of soldering, PCB assembly, wiring, troubleshooting electronics.
• Familiarity with Python/C/C++ for embedded IoT programming.
• Experience with robotic arms, mobile robots, obstacle detection, automation rigs, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud dashboards / APIs is an advantage.

Eligibility

• Must reside in or near Gurugram / Delhi NCR.
• Must be willing to work 6 days/week from the office.
• Must attend in-person interview at our Gurugram HQ.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,740.91 - ₹71,056.69 per month
