We are looking for an IO Characterization Engineer with strong expertise in IO libraries and silicon validation. The candidate will work on advanced technology nodes, performing simulations, lab measurements, and delivering accurate characterization data for integration into sign-off tools.

Perform electrical characterization of IO circuits across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners.
Conduct silicon validation, ESD testing, signal integrity, and high-speed IO measurements.
Develop automation scripts (Python/Perl/TCL) for data processing and analysis.
Generate and validate timing, power, noise, and IBIS models for IO libraries.
Debug and resolve silicon vs. simulation mismatches.
Collaborate with design, CAD, and verification teams to improve IO quality and performance.

38 years of IO Characterization / IO Circuit Design experience.
Proficiency in SPICE simulations and silicon measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, BERT, etc.).
Strong knowledge of CMOS IO design, ESD concepts, and signal/power integrity.
Hands-on experience with IBIS, Liberty, HSPICE modeling flows.
Expertise in Python, Perl, or TCL scripting for automation.

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or VLSI.
