Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GPU Datacenter Technician with a deep understanding of high-performance computing environments and large-scale GPU infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise, operational insight, and hands-on experience maintaining advanced datacenter systems that support AI, machine learning, and compute-intensive workloads.

Role & responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain GPU servers, clusters, and interconnect hardware.
  • Perform routine infrastructure health checks, diagnostics, and capacity planning.
  • Manage and document maintenance schedules, system configurations, and inventory tracking.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and network issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support large-scale GPU deployments and performance optimizations.
  • Respond promptly to GPU infrastructure issues (thermal, power, link failures, ECC errors).
  • Escalate issues to vendors (NVIDIA, Mellanox, OEMs) as needed and manage RMAs.
  • Monitor thermal and power conditions to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for racking, cabling, airflow management, and system redundancy.
  • Support testing and validation of new GPU hardware or firmware updates.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response efforts for critical datacenter operations.
  • Maintain asset tracking and update the CMDB for GPU servers and related components.
  • Ensure safe handling, decommissioning, and secure data wiping of GPU nodes.
  • Follow data center best practices, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
  • Develop and update SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for GPU infrastructure operations.
