Investment Banking Analyst

Role Description

This role is for an Investment Banking Analyst responsible for supporting financial analysis, transaction execution, and research activities across various mandates. In this position, you will assist with building financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and preparing pitch materials used in client presentations. You will help analyze company performance, assess market conditions, and contribute to the development of strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities include performing detailed financial modeling, preparing comparable analyses, conducting industry and market research, drafting internal and external documents, and supporting due diligence processes. You will work closely with senior team members to support live transactions, business development efforts, and the preparation of transaction-related documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, valuation methods, and financial statements
• Ability to conduct research and synthesize insights into clear and structured outputs
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
• High attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
• Strong communication skills for preparing materials and collaborating across teams
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related fields is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
