Position: Investment Analyst / Associate

Summary:

The incumbent will be a part of the investment team of Neo Private Credit Fund and will play a key role in analyzing various investment opportunities and taking them to meaningful closure. Role will involve doing through diligence of investment opportunity, presenting it to the investment committee, negotiating the transaction document and constant monitoring of portfolio companies post investment. It is expected that incumbent will play a pivotal role in re-shaping and re-focus of the value and impact that our team delivers across the business and with our clients.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of potential investment opportunities
  • Analysis of macro and micro economic factors impacting the target
  • Preparation of investment memos to be put up to Investment Committee
  • Engaging with external diligence agencies and lawyers to finalize diligences and transaction documents
  • Post investment monitoring of investee companies
  • Taking corrective steps for improving performance of investee companies, if required
  • Preparing internal discussion memos for investment appraisal of investee companies
  • Taking recovery steps for realization of invested amount, if required
  • Preparation of various communications to be sent out to investors


Academic Qualification and Experience:

  • Qualification - Chartered Accountant (Ranker preferred) or MBA
  • Experience - 2-4 years
  • Field of Experience – Experience in the field of debt investments/ credit evaluation


Knowledge, Competency and Skills requirement:

  • In depth understanding of Financial Statements
  • Experience/ Knowledge of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and/or SARFAESI
  • Proficiency with MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to create/gather/analyze data
  • Working knowledge of various databases
