Inventory Manager

Role Overview: As the Lab Manager for the Prototype Lab within the Research and Development (R&D) Unit of the Drone Technology division, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lab, managing a team of researchers and technicians, and ensuring the successful development and testing of drone prototypes. Your role will require a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to drive innovation in drone technology. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the Prototype Lab, ensuring a smooth workflow, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to safety protocols. - Maintain and organize the lab space, equipment, and tools to facilitate optimal working conditions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align lab activities with overall project goals and timelines. - Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Provide guidance and support for team members, helping them overcome challenges and achieve project milestones. - Develop and execute prototyping plans, collaborating with R&D leadership to define project objectives and monitor prototype progress. - Stay updated on the latest developments in drone technology, provide technical guidance to the team, and collaborate with external partners for additional insights. - Implement quality control processes, develop testing protocols, and maintain detailed records of experiments and testing results. - Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, conduct inventory audits, and manage stock counts. - Coordinate with the store for procurement requirements, manage material inward & outward, and oversee storage facilities. - Fill material disposition requests, prepare work orders and product postings in SAP, and provide monthly analysis reports of R&D inventory. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline. - Proven leadership experience in an R&D or prototype lab environment. - Strong background in drone technology, robotics, or related fields. - Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with safety and compliance standards. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. - Minimum 10 years of experience at a senior level, with a strong and influential personality. - Experience in Armed Forces could be advantageous.,
