Job Description

As an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager at Euler Motor Plant in Palwal, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize all inventory operations to support the production goals and financial objectives of the company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock levels, implementing efficient inventory control systems, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials within the manufacturing plant. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products. Utilize techniques such as Just-in-Time (JIT), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and ABC Analysis to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages. - Oversee the Goods Received Note (GRN) management process to verify that all goods received match purchase orders in quantity and quality. Ensure accurate documentation, timely stock updates, and resolution of discrepancies. - Manage the end-to-end process of sending semi-finished goods to job workers and receiving them back. Ensure GRN is raised upon return to validate receipts and maintain accurate inventory records. - Conduct regular cycle counts, physical audits, and reconciliation activities. Prepare detailed reports on inventory accuracy, turnover rates, and discrepancies for management review. - Supervise inventory staff and warehouse operations. Optimize warehouse layouts for efficient storage and retrieval, and enforce safety measures. - Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance teams to forecast demand, plan replenishment, and address supply chain challenges. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. - Certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred. - Proven 7+ years of experience as an Inventory Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment. - Hands-on experience with GRN processes, job work management, and inventory audits. - Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and barcode technology. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for demand forecasting and data analysis. - Knowledge of inventory methodologies such as FIFO, safety stock, and reorder points.
