Store Executive

Department:

Role Summary:

The Store Executive is responsible for managing all warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely material issuance, proper documentation, and smooth coordination with procurement, production, installation, logistics, and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate stock records of raw materials, finished goods, tools & consumables.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.

• Ensure proper labeling, binning, stacking, and safe storage of materials.

• Monitor stock levels and raise material requests when needed.

• Prevent stock shortages or overstocking through continuous monitoring.

2. Material Inward & Outward

• Verify received materials with purchase orders and supplier invoices.

• Inspect materials for quality, damage, and quantity.

• Update inward entries immediately in ERP/stock register.

• Issue materials to production, installation, and logistics teams as per approval.

• Track all dispatches and maintain outbound documentation accurately.

3. ERP & Documentation

• Update all material movements in ERP (GRN, Material Issue, Material Return, Transfer).

• Maintain accurate records of stock ledgers, delivery challans, and gate passes.

• Prepare daily stock reports and submit them to management.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate closely with purchase and production teams for material planning.

• Communicate shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the concerned department.

• Support logistics in dispatching materials & ensuring correct bill of materials.

5. Warehouse Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the store area.

• Ensure materials are handled safely to avoid damage or loss.

• Track tools, machinery, and consumables issued to employees.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and store operations

• Hands-on experience with ERP / stock management systems

• Good communication and coordination skills

• MS Excel proficiency

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• Basic understanding of material types (Civil, Glass, UPVC, ACP, Hardware, etc.) preferred

Qualification & Experience:

• Any Degree / Diploma

• 13 years of experience in store/warehouse handling (Manufacturing/Construction preferred)

• Freshers with strong learning ability may also apply
