The Center for Creative Learning (CCL) at IIT Gandhinagar was established in April 2017 to nurture scientific temper and inherent creativity in students and teachers. The center creates a space where learning is fun, experiential, and leads to conceptual understanding through engaging classes that trigger curiosity. With over 1000 unique STEM models and activities, CCL has conducted 100+ STEM and hands-on learning workshops for over 10,000 educators and interacted with more than 100,000 students across India. Our mission is driven by the joy of making and playing with our toys and models, and helping others to understand the world through a scientific and mathematical lens.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Internship Trainee role located in Ahmedabad. The Internship Trainee will assist in developing STEM models and activities, support the facilitation of workshops, and contribute to the creation of educational materials. Daily tasks include research, prototype development, collaboration with the team, and engaging with students and teachers during workshops.

Qualifications

Research and Development skills related to STEM education
Hands-on skills for creating prototypes and educational models
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
Workshop Facilitation and Teaching skills
Passion for STEM education and creativity
Ability to work well both independently and in a team
Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or related fields
