Internship Opportunity For NIFT Students – Fashion & Costume Design Department

This internship offers a unique hands-on experience on a professional film set to talented and motivated students from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) to join our team for an upcoming Category A feature film production.

Duration - December 2025 – End of January 2026 (2 months)

Positions- 2 Internship openings available

Location- New Delhi NCR (On-site during production and pre-production)

About the Internship

This internship offers a hands-on experience in the fashion and costume design department of a professional film production. Interns will work closely with the costume designer and wardrobe team to conceptualize, design, source, and manage costumes that enhance the storytelling and characters of the film.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in researching fashion styles relevant to the film’s setting and characters
• Support the costume designer in sketching and designing costumes
• Help source fabrics, materials, and accessories needed for costumes
• Assist in fittings, alterations, and wardrobe management on set
• Maintain costume continuity throughout the shooting schedule
• Coordinate with the production design and makeup departments for cohesive character looks
• Support the costume team in organizing and cataloging wardrobe items
• Assist in creating mood boards and lookbooks for the film’s characters

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will:

• Be currently enrolled at NIFT, specializing in Fashion Design or Costume Design
• Have a passion for costume design and strong creative visualization skills
• Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Be proactive, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Possess basic sewing and garment construction knowledge (preferred)
• Be willing to commit full-time during the duration of the internship.
