Job Description

Responsibilities for international tour package sales and operations include understanding client needs to design customized itineraries, booking flights, hotels, and activities, managing relationships with travel vendors, and handling post-booking support and customer service. Professionals in this role also develop sales strategies, prepare quotations, convert leads into bookings, meet sales targets, stay updated on travel trends and visa requirements, and ensure smooth tour execution for client satisfaction and repeat business. a Sales Responsibilities Client Consultation: Understanding client travel preferences, budgets, and specifications to suggest suitable packages and destinations.  Itinerary Design: Creating customized tour itineraries based on client needs, with various price points.  Sales Target Achievement: Pitching, selling, and converting leads into international travel bookings to achieve monthly sales targets.  Marketing & Promotion: Creating promotional materials and using sales techniques to sell tour packages.  Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.  Operations Responsibilities Vendor Coordination: Coordinating with and booking resources like airlines, hotels, transport, and other travel service providers.  Post-Booking Support: Handling customer queries, providing post-booking support, and assisting with visa processing.  Logistics Management: Managing backend tour operations to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of travel services.  Invoicing & Documentation: Handling administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, sales records, and post-sales files.  Product Knowledge: Staying updated on destination highlights, visa requirements, travel guidelines, new destinations, and travel trends.  Key Skills & Qualifications Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and vendor negotiation.  Customer Service: A client-focused approach to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.  Destination Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international destinations, attractions, and local cultures.  Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to secure competitive rates and agreements.  Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple client requirements, bookings, and operational tasks effectively.  Technical Skills: Proficiency in booking systems, sales reporting tools, and potentially GDS systems like Amadeus or Galileo.
