Internal Audit

We are hiring: Internal Audit Professional (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Brief Summary:

• CA with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit for the manufacturing or steel industry
• Willing to relocate for a minimum period of 2 years
• Individual contributor role with direct client interaction
• Knowledge and awareness of SAP ERP and business reports for conducting audits

• Locations:

   Jamshedpur / Kalinganagar / Bhubaneshwar

Skills Required:

1. Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting standards
2. Good understanding of auditing standards and methodologies
3. Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and audit tools
4. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
5. Strong communication and report-writing abilities
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously
7. Auditing experience in processes such as:
• Production, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Record-to-Report
• FSCP, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
• Maintenance, IPQC, Logistics, Gate-in/Gate-out
• Order to Cash, Capex, Costing, Repairs & Maintenance
• Inventory/Material Accounting, Operations, ITGC, etc.
8. Awareness of emerging risks and industry best practices
9. Updated knowledge of regulatory changes
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute internal audits as per company policies and regulatory requirements
2. Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across departments, ensuring control effectiveness
3. Identify and document key organizational risks and controls
4. Perform audit procedures including interviews, document review, data analysis, and testing
5. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls
6. Identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions and process improvements
7. Prepare detailed audit reports, highlight findings, and present recommendations to senior management
8. Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions
9. Maintain effective communication with auditees throughout the audit process
