What does the team do ?


At ShareChat, Indias largest vernacular content platform, the Content Operations team plays a pivotal role in defining and executing strategies for creating and acquiring impactful content, driving monetization efforts, and contributing to overall business growth. Collaborating with creators, partners, product teams, and feed teams, the team ensures the delivery of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with diverse Indian audiences across multiple formats, including audio and video.


The Episodic Team

is vital for driving high-quality, structured content (episodic series) on our platforms. As an Intern, you will play a hands-on supporting role in scaling up this program by focusing on

creator onboarding, content quality checks, and performance tracking.

What you'll do ?

  • Creator Pipeline Support:

  • Assist the team in identifying potential high-quality creators suitable for the episodic program based on specific criteria.
  • Help organize and maintain the database of creators in the onboarding pipeline.
  • Content Quality Assurance (TMMKH-Tamil / Marathi / Malayalam / Kannada / Hind Specific):

  • Review and quality check creator submissions, ensuring all content adheres to the defined

    episodic guidelines, production quality, and platform policies

  • Assist in tracking content schedules and episode delivery timelines.
  • Performance Tracking:

  • Collect and compile

    weekly performance data

    (views, shares, comments, retention metrics) for episodic content and creators.
  • Prepare basic reports and presentations to help the team analyze content success.
  • Operational Support:

  • Assist in communication with creators regarding delivery deadlines,feedback and all.
  • Help prepare documentation, reports, and internal communications related to the episodic program.

Who you are?

  • Educational Background:

    Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Cultural Knowledge

    - If you can easily figure out, if not already know, what people from a specific region/language like or dislike, then you could be the chosen one
  • Passion for Content:

    A strong interest in the digital media, short-form video, or OTT content in vertical format.
  • Language Skills:

    Proficiency in (Tamil / Marathi / Malayalam / Kannada / Hindi) is essential

    (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively review and communicate about regional content (TMMKH focus).
  • Organizational Skills:

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple small tasks efficiently.
  • Tools:

    Basic familiarity with data tools (e.g., Google Sheets/Excel) is a plus.
  • Mindset:

    Eager to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
