Interior Site Supervisor

Key Duties & Responsibilities of an Interior Designing Supervisor

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Oversee day-to-day site execution of interior design projects.
• Interpret design drawings, plans, and material specifications into actionable tasks.
• Coordinate between design team, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Develop and maintain work schedules, ensuring milestones are met within deadlines.

2. Supervision of Site Work

• Monitor on-site work to ensure quality standards and design intent are maintained.
• Guide carpenters, painters, electricians, and other tradesmen in line with design requirements.
• Ensure accurate installation of furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and resolve technical or execution issues.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Maintain strict adherence to material specifications, finishes, and detailing.
• Inspect incoming materials and approve/reject based on quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols.
• Document site progress through reports, photos, and checklists.

4. Client & Team Communication

• Act as a point of contact between the client and the execution team.
• Address client queries regarding site progress, materials, or timelines.
• Provide updates to the design/management team with transparent reporting.
• Conduct site walkthroughs with clients when required.

5. Problem Solving & Decision Making

• Resolve on-site technical issues quickly to prevent delays.
• Suggest practical modifications or alternative materials if needed while keeping design intent intact.
• Handle manpower allocation efficiently to maximize productivity.

6. Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly site progress reports.
• Track usage of materials and labor to control wastage and cost overruns.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure completion of rectifications before handover.
• Assist in project thandover by verifying final finishes and compliance with design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
