Interior Site Supervisor

Job Summary:The Interior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating interior construction and renovation projects on-site. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, supervising subcontractors and site workers, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth communication between project stakeholders and the execution team. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage the daily operations of interior fit-out/construction projects. Coordinate with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Review and interpret construction drawings and plans; ensure work aligns with design intent. Monitor site safety, enforce company safety policies, and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. Plan and schedule work activities, including manpower allocation and resource planning. Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Resolve site issues, conflicts, and discrepancies promptly. Track project progress, prepare daily site reports, and communicate updates to management. Manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for site activities. Conduct site meetings and toolbox talks as necessary. Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Ensure handover of completed areas aligns with quality standards and snag lists. Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as an Interior Site Supervisor or similar role in interior fit-out, construction, or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of interior finishes, carpentry, joinery, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and other interior systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend). Education and Experience:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). years of relevant site supervision experience in interior construction/fit-out projects. Work Conditions:This position requires regular site presence and may involve working extended hours or weekends to meet project deadlines. Must be comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
