Interior Draftsman

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical proficiency, and a passion for creating inspiring interior spaces. As an Interior Design Draftsman at 32ND, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans, ensuring the seamless execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interior designers and architects to develop preliminary design concepts and layouts.
• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Prepare material and finish specifications, schedules, and quantities as required.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate the implementation of design plans.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revisions and updates.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies relevant to interior design drafting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Required Skills

• Proven experience working as an Interior Design Draftsman or similar role in the interior design or architecture industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Hands-on site work is preferred, showcasing a strong understanding of on-the-ground operations.
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• In depth understanding of luxury F&B, Hospitality projects and high-end residential projects.
• International exposure or pedigree.
• Entrepreneurial DNA and a high-ownership approach towards challenges.
