Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in Design Development: Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts.
Assist in the creation of mood boards, concept presentations, and design proposals.
Space Planning: Assist in space planning and layout design for residential and commercial spaces.
Utilize design software for floor plans and 3D renderings.
Material and Furniture Selection: Research and source materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Assist in creating material and furniture boards for client presentations.
Project Documentation: Contribute to the preparation of design documentation, including drawings and specifications. Assist in maintaining organized project files.
Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and participate in design discussions.
Take notes during meetings and implement feedback into design concepts.
Site Visits: Accompany senior designers on site visits to understand project requirements and constraints.
Document site conditions and measurements as needed.
Research and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about current design trends and innovations.
Research new products, materials, and technologies relevant to interior design.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the design team.
Assist in ordering and tracking materials and samples.
Requirements:
Creative talent, imagination & eye for design
Proficient in Auto CAD (2D & 3D) , sketch up, Enscape, Canva and Ms suite
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Graduate in Interior design/postgraduate in interior design
