Interior Designer Team Lead / Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Team Lead/Manager - Interior Design located in Bengaluru. The Team Lead/Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of interior designers, overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining exceptional design quality. This role involves both hands-on design work and team management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and creative team environment.
• Oversee project assignments and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Design & Project Management:

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for both residential and commercial projects.
• Oversee the creation of efficient space plans, ensuring optimal use of space.
• Review and approve detailed technical drawings created using 2D and 3D software.
• Collaborate with clients to select suitable materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering functionality, budget, and aesthetics.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Ensure open and effective communication with clients throughout the design process, addressing their needs and expectations.

Design Standards & Industry Knowledge:

• Ensure adherence to company design standards and quality control measures.
• Stay updated on current trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects, including modular kitchens.
• Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an interior design environment.
• Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Solidworks, Fusion 360, Enscape), and other relevant design tools.
• Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, material selection, and construction documentation.
• Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Communication: Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
