Job Description

Job Summary:

The Interior Designer / Junior Architect will support the design team in creating innovative and functional interior spaces. This role involves assisting with design development, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring designs meet aesthetic and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior designers and architects in developing architectural and interior design concepts.
Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design tools.
Prepare material boards, finish schedules, and detailed specifications for interiors.
Participate in site visits, measurement surveys, and project meetings.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
Support space planning, furniture layout, and selection of finishes and fixtures.
Help produce construction documentation and manage project timelines.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in interior design or junior architectural roles.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and project involvement.
Good understanding of building codes and interior detailing.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
Knowledge of project management tools and construction administration.
Familiarity with 3D rendering software and visualization techniques.
