Role Description

Space Story Interiors is looking for interns with prior hands-on experience in interior design, site execution, drafting, or related work.

This internship is strictly for candidates with proven experience (previous internships, freelance work, or real project involvement). This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Intern role located in Pimpri Chinchwad. The intern will assist in various aspects of design projects, including space planning, concept development, sourcing furniture and materials, and preparing design presentations. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, supporting the design team with project implementation, and contributing creative input to optimize functional and aesthetic design elements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and understanding of Interior Design principles
• Experience or familiarity with Furniture selection and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specification
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset
• Basic knowledge of design software and tools, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp, is a plus
• Ongoing education or a degree in Interior Design or a related field
