Interior Design Intern

As an Interior Design Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the development of design concepts and mood boards for various spaces within the academic, administrative, and recreational areas. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the creation of 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation layouts using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools. - Supporting space planning initiatives by helping with furniture layouts and color schemes that are in line with the college's branding and functional requirements. - Participating in on-site measurements, conducting site visits, and coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed. - Conducting research on materials, finishes, and furnishings suitable for institutional environments. - Contributing to the integration of sustainability and cost-efficiency in design solutions. - Collaborating with faculty and staff to gather user input and feedback for design enhancements. Additionally, the company values on-site presence and emphasizes a full-time schedule with day and morning shifts. The work location for this role is in person to ensure effective coordination and collaboration within the team.
