Interior Design Intern

As an integral part of our team, you will assist in the development of design concepts and mood boards for various spaces within the academic, administrative, and recreational areas. Your responsibilities will include preparing 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation layouts utilizing software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools. You will play a key role in supporting space planning, furniture layouts, and color schemes that align with the college's branding and meet the functional needs of the spaces. Additionally, you will provide assistance with on-site measurements, conduct site visits, and coordinate with vendors or contractors as necessary. Researching materials, finishes, and furnishings suitable for institutional environments will be part of your duties, along with contributing to sustainability and cost-efficiency in our design solutions. Collaboration with faculty and staff to gather user input and feedback will also be an essential aspect of your role. This is a full-time position with a work schedule that includes day and morning shifts. The work location for this role is in-person, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of design and contribute to creating inspiring spaces for our academic community.,
