Job Description

Role Overview

We're looking for a Principal Architect Engineer who can lead, build, and scale our Real Money Gaming platform. You will architect the backend, manage integrations with mobile apps, and ensure high availability, security, and real-time responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable backend infrastructure for real-money gaming apps
  • Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle from planning to production
  • Work closely with the app development team to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration
  • Optimize systems for performance, security, and scalability
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in code quality, deployment, and architecture decisions
  • Ensure 24/7 uptime and compliance with RMG regulations and data security

Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend development experience, with a strong portfolio in real-money gaming
  • Deep proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Redis, AWS, MongoDB, or similar)
  • Strong experience in high-traffic, low-latency systems
  • Hands-on contributor with leadership ability must be able to both code and lead
  • Solid understanding of payments, wallets, and user transaction flows in RMG
  • Prior team leadership and project ownership
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred: Experience with security/compliance in gaming or fintech platforms
