Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Linux System Administrator L2/L3 at Justdial's Mumbai location. The candidate will be responsible for managing Linux server infrastructure, troubleshooting, technical support, and network security.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux OS Installation/troubleshooting, Kernel Tweaking, hardening and OS Log analysis.
  • Linux Filesystem knowledge : types of file systems and their aspects, tweaking file systems for specific purposes, etc.,
  • Managing Linux system users, user rights, IPTABLES/Firewall, SELINUX, HIPS, etc.,
  • Server troubleshooting : load troubleshooting, iostat, process-tracing, etc., network level troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of networking - routes, IPv6, subnets
  • Setting up / full knowledge of web technology - DNS, HTTP Server setup, Load balancing etc.,
  • L7 security concepts and a good awareness of security.
  • Utilities/programming : awk, sed, shell scripting, ansible, nagios-setup, etc.,
  • Knowledge of database clusters - MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, ELK, Redis, etc.,
  • Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.
  • Docker / K8 setup.
