Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Java and AWS Glue to support data processing requirements. Design and implement data pipelines to facilitate ETL operations for various data sources. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements as necessary. Ensure data security and compliance by applying best practices and governance standards in cloud environments. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while following industry standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong experience in Java programming and object-oriented design principles. Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and familiarity with its functionalities. Proficient in developing and deploying serverless applications in AWS using Lambda and other services. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of database systems, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
