Intercompany Accounting Specialist

As a Global Tax Finance Process Specialist at Accenture, you will be a part of the Finance Process Architecture team, focusing on connecting business requirements with technology solutions. Your role will involve enhancing and supporting tax processes and tools in SAP and other systems to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Support finance projects throughout all stages, including requirement documentation, solution design, testing, implementation, and change management. - Develop expertise in tax processes and share knowledge and best practices with business teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align with Accenture and Tax leadership objectives, working closely with CIO teams, project leads, finance groups, and tax experts. - Gain an understanding of SAP and non-SAP finance systems to propose operational enhancements. - Assist in the month-end financial close by coordinating tasks, validating intercompany billing data in SAP, identifying and resolving tax-related issues, representing Tax in discussions to resolve financial data issues, analyzing large datasets, and generating custom reports. - Support internal control requirements, including critical report validations. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant with 4 years of experience, or - Certified Managerial Accountant + Bachelors in Accounting with 5-6 years of experience. Professional Development Skills: - Experience in business process design and improvement. - Advocate for simplification, process enhancements, and standardization. - Proficiency in SAP Finance and Microsoft Office tools (Power BI, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint). - Independent thinker and self-starter. - Strong individual contributor with analytical and problem-solving skills. - Interest in implementing innovative methods and new technologies. - Effective communication skills in English, collaborating with individuals from diverse business and technical backgrounds. - Display flexibility and resilience in changing environments. - Maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. - Efficiently manage fast-paced operations, high transaction volumes, and multiple priorities.,
