Job Description

As a Product Selection and Portfolio management support specialist, your role involves identifying potential products with early launch opportunities, developing Invalidation/NI strategies, evaluating key patents of Innovator compounds, determining generic entry possibilities, and defining polymorph selection and NI formulation requirements for earliest entry. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting literature and patent searches on selected molecules in various databases - Identifying relevant references and conducting landscaping - Preparing patent reports with claimed subject matter, family members in countries of interest, expiry dates, and legal status - Analyzing non-infringement strategies for identified patents/applications - Providing IP clearance and Freedom to operate opinion for polymorph and formulation strategies - Monitoring legal status of critical patents and applications - Responding to customer queries - Providing patent challenge and litigation support Additionally, you will be involved in API due diligence, which includes patent searches for the preparation process of molecules and intermediates, evaluating RoS of Vendors, and managing patent filing and prosecution. For Regulatory support, you will be responsible for identifying relevant patents for Method of use, dosage form, and drug interactions, supporting label/indication carve outs, and handling IP queries from Regulatory authorities/customers. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also provide IP trainings, monitor litigation updates and IP law changes, prepare SOPs for IP functioning, and review CDA/Legal contracts from an IP perspective. Please note that this is a Full-time, Permanent position with an in-person work location.,
