Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist

Role Overview: When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also contributes to ensuring that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. As part of the Integrated Logistics team, you will be adding your expertise and skills to the delivery of Customer and Operational Excellence. Your primary objective will be to complete assigned tasks effectively, efficiently, and timely, delivering the highest customer excellence within agreed key performance indicators (KPI). Key Responsibilities: - Keep track of daily activities and report daily status to your manager. - Take timely and proactive measures to avoid potential escalations. - Undertake the transport planning of orders/shipments and forecasting. - Contribute to improvement initiatives by sharing productivity/improvement ideas related to processes. - Record and manage deviations/escalations in the day-to-day processes. - Ensure visibility of shipments of all kinds, update, and follow up on missing statuses in the system. - Work with different stakeholders to obtain necessary information or documents related to shipment planning. - Validate all shipping documents and maintain records. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transport planning, or supply chain operations. - Strong knowledge of order/transport planning, shipment tracking, and forecasting. - Ability to handle escalations, deviations, and daily operational reporting. - Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
