Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist located in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities include verifying patients' insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims. The role requires effective communication with insurance providers and patients, resolving any insurance-related inquiries, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of verifications and authorizations to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with a clear understanding of policy verification and claims processes
• Knowledge of Finance and the ability to ensure accurate billing and payment processes
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with patients and insurance providers
• Experience in healthcare or related fields is an advantage
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with medical terminology and billing systems is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a relevant field is beneficial
