Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining EY as a Technical Engineering in the Career Family-GW Billing Centre Support. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on Guidewire Billing Center Support and Maintenance, contributing to various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects. Your role will involve managing the integration of Guidewire software with other external systems and implementing Guidewire product suite. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Guidewire Billing Center Support and Maintenance with 3-6 years of experience. - Be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, UK Shift) and provide On Call Support on a rostered rotational basis. - Contribute to various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects. - Manage the integration of Guidewire software with other external systems. - Design, modify, and implement Guidewire product suite. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework, implementation, architecture, and components. - Experience in GuideWire Billing Center 9.0 version and above. - Proficient in development streams including Configuration/Integration/Both. - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model). - Ability to implement Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting. - Experience in Metadata Configuration of Rules (including UI Validation). - Familiarity with Integration with External Systems and Guidewire Platform supported integration techniques. - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT. - Proficiency in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System. - Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/WebLogic. - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain. - Experience in the Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty. - Understanding and experience of software development best practices. - Excellent business communication skills. - Strong leadership skills. - Prior experience in client-facing roles. - Proficiency in tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins. - Understanding of service management and change management activities, along with SLAs and estimator tools. - Exposure to working in shifts and on-call support. - Experience in incident management and problem management.,
