As a Guidewire Claims Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be developing, implementing, and supporting solutions within the Guidewire Claims Management module. This role involves engaging in maintenance and support activities to resolve production issues effectively. Collaboration with business analysts, project managers, and other developers will be essential to ensure that the claims processing systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, support, and defect fixing - Perform root cause analysis and provide fixes - Implement enhancements and code changes - Manage integration of Guidewire software with external systems - Design, modify, and implement Guidewire product suite - Proactively monitor systems - Must be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and provide On-Call Support on a rostered rotational basis - Manage middleware applications with various interfaces including Guidewire system Skills and Attributes Required: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Claim Centre, implementation, architecture, and components - Experience with GuideWire Claim Center 9.0 version+ (Cloud Certified- Associate or ACE) - Proficiency in development streams - Configuration/Integration/Both - Strong knowledge of Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model) - Implementation of Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting - Integration with External Systems and Guidewire Platform supported integration techniques - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong skills in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/WebLogic - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Familiarity with incident management and problem management Qualifications: - 5-8 years of work experience in Guidewire product - Graduation or equivalent degree - Experience in production support Desired Qualifications: - Application Maintenance & Support experience - Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, ALM, etc What We Offer: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) provides a dynamic and global delivery network across various locations. As a Guidewire Policy Centre Support professional with 1.5 to 2.5 years of experience, your key responsibilities will include providing support and maintenance for Guidewire Policy Center. You must be willing to work in rotational shifts (India Shift, US Shift) and provide on-call support on a rotational basis. Your expertise will be crucial in maintenance, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment tasks. You will manage Guidewire CC Configuration and Integration, as well as design, modify, and implement the Guidewire product suite. To excel in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of the Guidewire framework, implementation, architecture, and components. Experience with GuideWire Policy Center 9.0 version or higher is required. Proficiency in development streams such as Configuration, Integration, or both is essential. Your skills in Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model, will be put to good use. Additionally, you will implement rules using GOSU scripting, configure metadata rules, and integrate with external systems using Guidewire supported techniques. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems. Knowledge of Tomcat, WebSphere/WebLogic, enterprise system integration, and the insurance domain is preferred. Your experience with incident management, problem management, and tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins will be valuable in this role. To qualify for this position, you must have expertise in Guidewire CC Config, Gosu scripting, UI & Data Models, Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System, and Tomcat or WebSphere/WebLogic.
