Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of relevant technical equipment, operations technology and diagnostic techniques.
• Adept at learning equipment functionality as it relates to asset management & operations technology.
• Understanding of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Deep knowledge in EHS issues especially for permits and subcontractors jobs
• Deep knowledge of instrumentation, equipment process control and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong technical skillset to implement process control improvements to operating unit.
• General understanding of Capital Project Execution Process Knowledge of 5S, root cause analysis and other lean management principles and methodologies.
• Knowledgeable and process industry maintenance standards, procedures, and accepted best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to modify individual approach situationally.
• Effective at managing changing priorities, demands and aligning team to new direction.
• Accurate data entry, and ability to type on a computer at a functional pace to meet the demands of the job Understanding of business metrics, Performance Planning Management Cycle, and performance KPI Exercises sound decision making, and judgement aligned with site objectives.
• Highly developed planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction while managing competing deadlines & multiple projects.

Education and Experience:

• First class Instrumentation graduate from AICTE approved engineering college.
• Relevant experience of around 5-7 years in Petrochemicals/ Chemical company
• Strong Instrumentation and control Systems knowledge
• Strong MS-Excel, MS-Word and database skills
• Extensive Process Industry equipment knowledge and experience
• Clear and concise communication skills verbal and written
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills

Software Skills:

• Adept at SAP/ERP and CMMS, e.g. SAP PM
