Design & Drafting
: Use
EPLAN
to design control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Generate detailed electrical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication.
Compliance & Quality
: Ensure all designs comply with
UL 508A, NEC
, and other relevant codes. Conduct quality reviews of project submissions.
Technical Support
: Assist with hardware selection, panel sizing, and system troubleshooting during the design phase. Review vendor drawing submittals to confirm design compliance.
Collaboration
: Work closely with senior engineers, and engineering and production teams to meet project timelines.
Deliverables
: A plus if you can develop control system deliverables such as
I/O lists, cable schedules, instrument location plans
, and
instrument datasheets
.

Required Qualifications

Education
: A Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
:
6 to 8 years of experience
working with EPLAN. Prior experience in control panel design and working on food & consumer product or mission-critical facilities is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
:
Hands-on EPLAN experience is a must.
Knowledge of
UL 508A, NEC, NFPA, and NEMA standards
.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
Knowledge of databases, especially Excel.
Soft Skills
: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
