Instrumentation Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Understand instrumentation requirements, identify control logic requirements of the project, and ensure

output is in line with project parameters.

2. Conduct and coordinate instrumentation engineering work for own project/s.

3. Ensure order specifications, site execution documents and all basic/ detail engineering activities are

completed on schedule and in line with Praj's Quality Management Systems .

4. Deliver output in line with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards during

proposal preparation and project execution.

5. Ensure closure of Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Field Change Request

(FCR) w.r.t. Instrumentation engineering.

6. Support BDN/ Proposal teams during bidding/ tender finalization phase.

7. Compliance with safety, statutory and legal requirements in the basic and detailed engineering.

8. Promote profitability by Innovation and improvement in engineering activity.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Technical knowledge in the field of instrumentation engineering & applicable instrument standards.

2. Ability to assess automation & instrumentation requirements based on inputs received.

3. Should have knowledge about complete project execution cycle & general knowledge about other cross

functional teams.

4. Engineering Tools Management.

5. Knowledge about administrative requirements of ESEI Discipline & internal procedures.
