Electrical Lead

Role & responsibilities

1. Understand electrical requirements, identify any special/ critical requirements of the project, and ensuredesign is in line with project parameters (including application of electrical engineering to plant (constructability).

2. Plan resources, schedules, conduct, and coordinate electrical engineering work for multiple projects.

3. Ensure design, documents, and detail engineering activities/ tasks are completed on schedule and in line with Praj's Quality Management Systems .

4. Ensure all output is in line with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards during proposal preparation and project execution.

5. Oversee closure of all Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Field Change Request (FCR) w.r.t. Electrical engineering; Manage closure of unusual or complex problems.

6. Develop complex electrical control wiring diagrams .

7. Support BDN/ Proposal teams during bidding/ tender finalization phase.

8. Oversee work of junior engineers to ensure accuracy and provide technical/ functional guidance as required.

9. Ensure interdisciplinary coordination and communication on projects.

10. Analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work.

11. Serve as project engineer and as a designated contact as required.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Technical domain knowledge; expertise to design electrical LV & HV distribution system for industry

sector.

2. Understanding of Indian and International applicable standards, safety and regulatory requirements.

3. Technical risk analysis & evaluation for specific issues related to electrical engineering.

4. Overall Layout optimization & value engineering.

5. Understand and develop electrical sizing calculations.

6. Knowledge of hazardous areas.

7. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical software and excel programs.
