Electrical Lead

As an Electrical Lead, you will be responsible for various design tasks related to medium voltage/low voltage systems and associated equipment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing MV/LV systems and associated equipment such as SLD, Load List, Switchgear, MCC, Motors, UPS, Control Panels, Junction Boxes, BOQ - Preparing Electrical Load List, Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams - Conducting Cable Sizing and Selection, Equipment Layout Design, Earthing & Lighting Protection Design, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations - Developing Technical Documents like Equipment Specifications/Datasheets - Creating Cable Tray/Conduit laying and installation drawings - Leading the development of various substation and power distribution scheme single line diagrams - Collaborating with civil and mechanical disciplines for physical substation layouts - Developing substation design Scope of Work and specifications - Performing studies for grounding, lightning protection, arc flash hazard, and other necessary substation design aspects - Conducting Design calculations for Transformer and Generator - Reviewing Vendor Drawings and Technical Bid Evaluation/Approval - Coordinating with Piping/Mechanical/Instrumentation designers for Electrical Design Interface details - Assisting in the installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical System Equipment at the site - Participating in FAT and SAT processes - Ensuring compliance with relevant Codes and Standards such as ISA, IEC, CSA, NEC(NFPA70) - Adhering to Equipment Selection and Electrical Design Guidelines specific to the Oil and Gas industry - Understanding instrumentation and process control design for the Oil and Gas sector - Familiarity with Midstream/Downstream design/engineering processes in the Oil and Gas industry - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is a must, with AutoCAD 3D capability considered an advantage - Experience with engineering tool ETAP for power system analysis would be beneficial - Being a team player and collaborating with other Technical disciplines to achieve integrated project execution Your educational background should include a Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
