Instrument Engineer

As an Instrument Engineer at our Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) Plant in Undgaon Kanhan, Nagpur, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and compliance with safety standards. With 1 to 5 years of experience and a Diploma in Instrument Engineering, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and calibrate instruments and control systems in the DRI plant. - Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues efficiently. - Monitor and maintain process control systems, ensuring accurate readings and optimal plant performance. - Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support operational efficiency. - Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of instruments. - Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of instrument maintenance activities. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. Skills & Competencies: - Hands-on experience with industrial instrumentation in a DRI Plant / Steel industry is mandatory. - Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and other control systems is an advantage. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and instrument schematics. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. - Awareness of safety regulations and compliance standards.
