As a Home Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring home automation systems, which include smart lighting, security cameras, thermostats, and audio/visual systems. Your duties will involve performing wiring and cabling tasks as per design specifications, conducting diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure seamless operation. Additionally, you will be required to provide on-site repair and maintenance services for automation equipment and machinery. Collaborating with clients to understand their automation needs and preferences will be a crucial part of your role. Working closely with project teams to ensure the timely completion of installation and repairs is also essential. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in installing and servicing home automation systems. Experience in audio visual, home theatre, and projectors will be beneficial. Knowledge of home automation technologies like KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and Wi-Fi is essential. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with excellent customer service abilities, are also required. The position demands the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed is a must. A customer service-oriented mindset focused on delivering exceptional services is highly valued. This is a full-time position that offers benefits like leave encashment.
