Job Title:Project Manager – Home Automation Experience 6-10Years Location:Bangalore Key Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end execution of home automation projects, from planning to commissioning. - Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to define project requirements and deliverables. - Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. - Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project execution. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance. - Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and troubleshooting during project execution. - Work closely with the sales and technical teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions. - Evaluate and implement new automation technologies to enhance project efficiency and innovation. - Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and clients. As the Chief Smart Automation Technician, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and optimization of smart automation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, troubleshooting complex technil issues, and training both staff and customers on system functionality. This role requires a deep understanding of IoT, smart home technology, and automation protocols to enhance user experience and system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance: Oversee and execute the setup of smart automation systems, including security, lighting, HVAC, and voice-controlled devices , Ensure all systems are functioning optimally and meet industry standards System Integration: Configure and integrate smart devices with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and efficient communication between systems Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose, repair, and optimize automation systems, providing real-time solutions for technical issues. Maintain logs of system performance and address recurring problems Training & User Support: Educate customers, technicians, and stakeholders on system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to maximize efficiency Upgrades & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in IoT, automation, and AIdriven smart technologies. Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance performance. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices. Conduct inspections and quality control assessments Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on installations, system configurations, and customer interactions Vendor & Client Relations: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to recommend suitable automation solutions and ensure seamless implementation. Desired profile: Extensive knowledge of IoT, smart home systems, and automation technologies Proficiency in networking protocols (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, etc.) Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Experience with cloud-based automation platforms and mobile app integrations Knowledge of electrical wiring, control systems, and security protocols Ability to train and mentor technical staff and end-users. Someone who understands house wiring and power supply and knows AutoCAD/Dialux Software tool could be a good fit for the role. This role also needs to handle a team of 4-5 people.
