Job Description

  • Understanding of industrial furnace components, including burners, heating elements, hydraulics, and structural components.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and piping schematics and technical drawings.
  • Practical experience in installing and commissioning industrial machinery, particularly in the thermal or heating industry.
  • Familiarity with mounting, wiring, and connecting equipment in industrial settings.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), sensors, and control panels used in furnace operations.
  • Ability to calibrate and configure control instruments.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues during the installation and commissioning process.
  • Strong analytical skills for quickly identifying and fixing problems that arise on-site.
  • Experience in testing equipment performance, system calibration, and ensuring that all system components are functioning according to specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to industrial equipment installation (e.g., OSHA, electrical safety codes).
  • Knowledge of safe handling procedures, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple installation projects, coordinate schedules, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality or safety.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and overseeing resources, tools, and manpower on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, explain technical aspects clearly, and provide updates on installation progress.
  • Ability to conduct on-site training for customers and guide them through the proper use and maintenance of the installed furnace systems.
  • Ability to work closely with various departments, such as design, production, and fabrication teams, to ensure smooth installation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work efficiently with on-site teams and external contractors.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in different environments, including remote industrial locations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, schedules, or unexpected technical challenges.
  • PLC Programming: Familiarity with basic programming of control systems or ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Knowledge of Furnace Design and Operations: Specific knowledge of industrial furnace designs or heating systems would be an added advantage.
  • Language Skills: International travel is involved, language skills may be beneficial for customer interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
