Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research:

    Development of Prospect Pipeline through identification and focused research
  • Outbound Calling:

    Initiate cold calls to potential leads, introduce the companys products or services, and gauge interest.
  • Lead Qualification:

    Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria to determine if they’re a good fit for the company’s offerings.
  • Appointment Setting:

    Schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Pipeline Building:

    Maintain and update the Salesforce with detailed records of calls, conversations, and follow-up actions.
  • Follow-ups:

    Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer any questions, and maintain engagement with prospects.
  • Product Knowledge:

    Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate value to prospects.
  • Target Achievement:

    Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly call quotas, lead generation goals, and other performance targets.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide relevant insights from initial calls.
  • Feedback:

    Provide feedback from prospects to the marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve targeting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. (Chemical/Mechanical)
  • Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales (1-2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Comfortable with using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track activity.
  • Goal-oriented and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, perseverance, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in handling Chemicals, Pharma companies
  • Familiarity with sales scripts and objection handling techniques.
