Job Description

Position : Sr. Electrical Engineer Experience : 5-8 Years Qualification : BE/ ME (Electrical) Job Location : UK Required Skills & Experience: 1. The person should have hands on experience in executing BESS projects. The work will typically cover preparation of following deliverables, a. Main single line diagrams b. Main protection and control diagram c. BESS equipment layout (Transformer, PCS, Battery pack ) d. 33kV Switch room and Control room layout e. SCADA communication architecture f. SCADA I/O schedule g. MV/ LV/DC Cable sizing, h. Cable Schedule i. Interconnection drawings- secondary design j. Lighting, Earthing calculations k. Lightning protection layout, Cable layout, Earthing layouts. l. 132kV Switchyard layout, schematics, Cable connection diagrams m. Electrical equipment specifications/ datasheet 2. Standards known : IS, BS, IEC 3. Software knowledge- ACAD & ETAP 4. Experience in power system studies on ETAP is desirable. 5. Good communication skills 6. Customer interfacing abilities Responsibilities To prepare various deliverables such as SLD, Electrical design calculations, Specifications, various layouts, BOM, TBA, VDR etc. Organize day-to-day work plan for self and team members. To review check and verify the teams output deliverables. Discussion with Vendors and Technical bid evaluation of power distribution equipment for safety, performance and functionality for required applications.
