Job Description

Role & responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to take on the following activities:

  • Product Positioning

    • Clearly Understand the Product Portfolio, Key Product Strengths and Unique Selling Points.
    • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
    • Attend regular online or in-person product training sessions to develop product expertise
    • Stay informed about competing products and services.
    • Upsell products and services
  • Lead Generation & Product Promotion

    • Actively participate in sales stimulus activities including webinar/seminars, product shows, email campaigns & cold calling and help expand market/customer reach
    • Effectively utilize sales resources including CRM, Linked-In and other customer databases to research market/new customer and connect with new prospective customers
    • Maintain and expand customer database of prospects within assigned territory
  • Customer Engagement

    • Possess excellent customer engagement skills and have marketing/sales acumen to identify prospective, develop leads, explain the products portfolio, addressing questions and help customers understand our TMI offering to the best possible extent.
    • Understand customer needs/requirements while identifying sales opportunities
    • Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information per email
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Regional Sales

    • Actively support sales team to identify new opportunities, build strong funnel and achieve regional sales targets
    • Work collaboratively with local sales managers and engineers to speed sales
    • Update/Log activities in CRM track leads and opportunities, and run sales reports
  • Account Management

    & Customer Engagement

    • Work effectively with the sales team to develop and maintain a territory sales plan with focus on key accounts & new markets.
    • Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs
    • Develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers
    • Profile and explore deeper into key accounts to increase business opportunities

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication (or equivalent) with 2 to 5 years successful technology field sales experience preferably in Test and Measurement field
  • Highly motivated and success driven.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful high-technology sales (4+ years experience). Sales/Inside experience in the Test and Measurement industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of the electronics industry highly preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Experience with computers, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written communications skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
