Role Overview Inside Sales Executive

The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through effective lead generation, customer engagement, and timely client renewals. This role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, executing sales campaigns, proactively engaging with prospective, existing, and critical customers, and ensuring on-time renewals to support revenue continuity. The individual will work closely with sales, marketing, and account management teams to maintain a strong sales and renewal pipeline and travel to client location as in when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Generate new leads through inbound inquiries, outbound calls, emails, and sales campaigns
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead information in the CRM system

Inbound & Outbound Sales Engagement

  • Handle inbound calls and inquiries from potential customers promptly and professionally
  • Make outbound calls to prospects and existing customers for introductions, follow-ups, and upsell opportunities
  • Conduct demos/presentations to the customer and convert into a Sale

Client Renewals & Existing Customer Management

  • Manage timely renewals for existing customers to ensure revenue retention
  • Proactively reach out to customers well in advance of renewal dates
  • Address renewal-related queries, coordinate documentation, and ensure smooth closure
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling during renewal conversations

Market Research

  • Identify potential markets and customers.
  • Analyze lead data to identify trends and improve targeting strategies.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with key and critical customers for follow-ups, renewals, or special initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Act as a trusted point of contact and ensure a positive customer experience

Sales Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, renewals, and interactions in CRM
  • Track lead and renewal pipelines and ensure timely handover to sales or account managers
  • Prepare regular reports on lead status, renewal progress, and conversion metrics
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on call outcomes and lead qualification metrics.
  • Share insights and suggestions for improving lead conversion rates.

Qualification

  • MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience/Knowledge in lead calling, qualification, or a similar role in the Fintech/ B2B sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
