Innovation & Entrepreneurship Mentor

We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals who can empower students in Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Practices while also providing hands-on training in Tinkering Lab tools and technologies. The ideal candidate should be both a creative thinker and a practical implementer, capable of mentoring young innovators from identifying problem statements to developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship development workshops for students.
• Train and guide students in Innovation & Startup ideation processes.
• Facilitate practical sessions on Tinkering Lab tools such as:
• IoT Prototyping (Development boards, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Sensors, etc.)
• 3D Modelling, 3D Printing (Fusion 360, Tinkercad, cirkitdesigner, etc.)
• UI/UX Design (Figma, etc)
• Support and guide students in developing prototypes and converting them into real-time solutions/startup ideas.
• Collaborate with faculty, incubation center, and industry experts for projects and mentoring.
• Document activities, prepare reports, and contribute to building an innovation-driven ecosystem on campus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Design, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or related field.
• Hands-on expertise in tinkering lab domains (IoT, 3D Printing, 3D Modelling, Figma UI/UX).
• Strong interest in Design Thinking, Innovation methodologies, and Entrepreneurship concepts.
• Experience in mentoring students or working with incubation/innovation centers is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Passion for nurturing student innovators and entrepreneurs is a must.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
