Injection Mold Designer (Mould Tool Designer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed

  mold designs

  based on client-provided part models and coordinate

  Mold Flow analysis

  .
• Determine and raise

  material requirements

  , including steel grades, mold bases, and standard components.
• Oversee

  tool room operations

  such as Milling, VMC, Lathe, CNC, Wire-Cut, and EDM to ensure design feasibility.
• Export

  3D design files

  for EDM and prepare

  2D drafting

  for machining processes (Milling, Wire Cut etc.).
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement of

  Core and Cavity materials

  based on specifications.
• Prepare

  DFM (Design for Manufacturability)

  reports and present for customer approvals.
• Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Worked on high-precision and complex projects including:

• Watch Mold Electrode

  design for

  TITAN

• Driver Air Bag (DAB)

  &

  Passenger Air Bag (PAB)

  cover mold
• Complex mold for screen upper and lower body for

  INZI Auto Components

Candidate Profile:

• Hands-on experience with

  CATIA

  and plastic injection mold design.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and mold manufacturing workflow.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
